Job Title: Shipping Associate
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
FLSA: Non-exempt

The Shipping Associate is responsible for pulling, packaging, verifying and invoicing orders for incoming and outgoing shipments.

  • Inspect shipments at loading and unloading for damage and quantity daily.
  • Determine shipping method for product; knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.
  • Control all special and emergency orders by tagging and notifying appropriate person.
  • Verify the number on the parts matches the work order.
  • Inspect shipments to ensure that freight is securely braced and blocked.
  • Examine incoming and outgoing shipment contents and compare with packlist and shipping documents to verify accuracy.
  • Confers with Warehouse Manager to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
  • Work with internal and external groups to complete shipping requirements.
  • Reports any irregular issues to management and participates in problem resolution.
  • Load freight using pallet jack and forklift.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with all other departments.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

    The Position

    The Production Worker is responsible for assisting in the preparation and manufacturing of our products.

    Current Shift Start Time: 6:00 a.m.

    Starting Hourly Rate: $15.00


    Assist with the operation of machines and equipment or using hand tools to cut and shape metal pieces used in our manufacturing process.

    Assist with cutting and preparing materials to join parts and assemblies.

    Provide assistance in the assembly area to help manufacture our wheel and specialty products.

    Assist with general facility cleanup and other activities as required to support the production process.

    Required Qualifications

    General related experience or previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

    Ability to read and follow a manufacturing schedule.

    Ability to communicate effectively with others and work as part of a team.

    Good problem-solving skills and ability to pay attention to details.

    Comfortable working in a metal plant environment.

    Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 20 – 50 lbs., bending, crouching, kneeling and standing for extended periods of time.

    Job Title: Accounting Specialist
    Reports to: Controller
    FLSA: Part-time Non-exempt
    Date: 12/01/2018

    Responsible for assisting the Controller with accounting responsibilities including Accounts Receivable, General Ledger Duties and overall financial health of the company.

    • Maintain Customer Accounts (Accounts Receivables)
      • Daily invoice processing
      • Monthly statement processing
      • Daily cash applications
      • Maintain general condition of accounts receivable and collection of past due accounts.
    • Calculate monthly commissions
    • Prepare sales and use tax returns and make deposits monthly, quarterly and annually
    • Prepare Iowa use tax returns and make quarterly deposits
    • Deposit Income Tax payments quarterly
    • Monthly Bank Reconciliations
    • Enter monthly general ledger accruals and other journal entries
    • Backup for Controller, assist with month end and year end closing procedures
    • Special projects as assigned that assist with providing financial data to the management team.
    • Proficient in WORD and EXCEL
    • Strong General Ledger knowledge
    • Able to analyze and interpret data/information

    • 2 or 4 year Accounting degree
