Job Title: Staff Accountant
Reports to: Accounting Supervisor
FLSA: Exempt

JOB SUMMARY:

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for working closely with the Accounting Supervisor in assisting with general accounting duties, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, and contributing to the financial health of the company.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain customer accounts and general accounts receivable:
    • Collection of past due accounts
    • Process invoices and monthly statements
    • Daily cash applications
  • Perform mid-level general ledger account reconciliations, including monthly GL accruals, accrued PO adjusting entries, and other journal entries
  • Reconcile bank accounts monthly
  • Monitor and manage sales tax transactions and returns in Avalara tax software
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Audit purchase orders and weekly vendor payments
  • Special projects as requested that assist with providing financial data to the management team by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting OR Associates degree in Accounting plus 3 years of accounting experience
  • Experience in manufacturing accounting preferred
  • Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles)
  • Desire to continue to grow through continuing training

Physical Requirements

This position will require prolonged periods sitting at a desk. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally and move about facility to communicate with other team members.

Working Conditions:

Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator
Reports to: Production Manager
FLSA: Non - Exempt
Date: 01.01.2021

JOB SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the company’s equipment and facilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate, schedule and perform all preventive maintenance of production equipment, company buildings and fleet of vehicles
  • Diagnose problems with production equipment, buildings and vehicles and coordinate repairs to resolve the issue
  • Prioritize scheduled maintenance and needed repairs with Production Manager
  • Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests
  • Communicate directly with the Production Department and Production Manager ensuring problems and tasks are addressed in a timely manner
  • Document and maintain all maintenance records
  • Oversee the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) records for the company
  • Observe and analyze job environment for safety hazards
  • Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
  • Maintain compliance with all city, state and federal regulations
  • Coordinate lawn care and snow removal
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with all other departments.
  • Regular and reliable attendance

REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • AA, BS and/or technical education is preferred
  • One year of building and facility maintenance experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The person in this position needs to move about the facility, lift 60 pounds, climb ladders, and manage confined space entry.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work areas are exposed to all elements of weather, loud noise, and dusty conditions. Must be able to work safely with exposure to chemicals and machinery.
