Job Title: Production Worker 1
Reports to: Production Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Worker position performs tasks involved in the production of Wold Rim & Wheel products.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operates various equipment, such as:
    • Sander
    • Grinder
    • Shot Blaster
    • Tubeless tester
  • Assists with washer and paint line.
  • Performs duties with speed, accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Follows production schedule to ensure completion of daily tasks.
  • Reads blueprints and/or work orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions.
  • Moves product by operating an overhead crane, forklift, and pallet jack.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with all other departments.
  • Regular and reliable attendance required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent communication skills to develop effective working relationships with internal and external partners

QUALIFICATIONS:

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work areas are exposed to all elements of weather, loud noise, and dusty conditions. Must be able to work safely with exposure to chemicals and machinery.

Job Title: Staff Accountant
Reports to: Accounting Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for working closely with the Accounting Supervisor in assisting with general accounting duties, overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, and contributing to the financial health of the company.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform mid-level general ledger account reconciliations, including monthly GL accruals, accrued PO adjusting entries, and other journal entries
  • Reconcile bank accounts monthly
  • Monitor and manage sales tax transactions and returns in Avalara tax software
  • Prepare Iowa use tax returns and make quarterly deposits
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Audit weekly vendor payments
  • Send out daily financial snapshot to management team
  • Review customer credit applications as they are received
  • Support purchasing manager with providing financial information to meet inventory management goals
  • Special projects as requested that assist with providing financial data to the management team by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting OR Associates degree in Accounting plus 3 years of accounting experience
  • Experience in manufacturing accounting preferred
  • Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles)
  • Desire to continue to grow through continuing training
Physical Requirements

This position will require prolonged periods sitting at a desk. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally and move about facility to communicate with other team members.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Manages the recruitment and selection process.
  • Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Facilitates the process of employee handbook reviews and revisions.
  • Reviews and keeps current all human resources policies.
  • Assists with the implementation of the employee evaluation process.
  • Serves as a resource for staff on personnel-related functions.
  • Conducts investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth.
  • Leads the personnel functions and provides appropriate tools to assist with the maintenance of personnel files, hiring, evaluations, compliance with federal and state regulations like Leave Management, OSHA, COBRA, Worker’s Compensation and Unemployment.
  • Implements and revises company’s compensation program.
  • Oversee employee education about company’s benefits and enrollment in programs.
  • Evaluates and compares existing company benefits with those of other employers by analyzing other plans, surveys, and other source information to make recommendations for review by management.
  • Ensures compliance with provisions of federal, state and department of labor regulations.
  • Supervise maintenance of enrollment and claims records for all benefit plans.
  • Determines and recommends employee relation practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
